Saturday’s Premier League Betting Tips: Calvert-Lewin to Trouble Arsenal and Wilson to Fire Newcastle to Three Points

We’vr got four more Premier League fixtures taking place on Saturday as the Christmas schedule gets up to full speed. The teams all have a quick turnaround after midweek matches and Crystal Palace vs Liverpool kick things off on Saturday.

The second game on Saturday sees Manchester City face a tricky trip to Southampton before in-form Everton host a struggling Arsenal side.

Saturday’s final match is a clash between Newcastle and Brighton, with both sides looking over their shoulder.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool Prediction

Manchester City aren’t flying high in the league but their defensive output in recent games has been good. Nevertheless, against one of the in-form sides in the division, City may not have it all their own way. At 3/1 Adams looks like good value here.

Everton vs Arsenal Prediction

The Premier League top goalscorer was unable to add to his tally in Everton’s 2-0 win over Leicester in midweek. Calvert-Lewin came desperately close when his shot was saved at point-blank range before being turned in by Mason Holgate.

Everton have turned their poor form around with victories over Chelsea and Leicester and now face a depleted and severely out of form Arsenal. The Gunners ended a run of four consecutive defeats by salvaging a draw against Southampton but will crucially be without Gabriel for this one.

Newcastle vs Fulham Prediction

Newcastle’s top goalscorer turned provider in midweek as Newcastle slumped to a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Leeds. Wilson has carried the Magpies attack this season with Steve Bruce relying on him to produce the goods despite a lack of attacking endeavor.

Newcastle could be in danger of being sucked into an unnecessary relegation scrap if they aren’t more positive and this is exactly the sort of game they need to take three points from. A goal-fest is unlikely but should Newcastle win as expected, Wilson is likely to be on the scoresheet.
