Birmingham vs Cardiff Prediction – Who will win?

Birmingham got their first win in seven Championship fixtures last time out when they beat Luton Town and now will try and win at St. Andrews for the first time in seven attempts. They have lost six of those games, drawing only with Millwall, and have been involved in some crazy matches. They lost 5-4 to Leeds and went down 3-2 against both West Brom and Wigan.

Cardiff won their FA Cup third-round replay at Carlisle on Wednesday night but their last away match in the Championship was a crazy 6-1 loss at QPR. Before that, they had beaten Sheffield Wednesday and drawn 3-3 at Leeds, so it’s hard to explain that 6-1 loss.

So here we have two sides that are not in great form, but scoring and conceding goals does not seem too much of a problem for them. Birmingham’s high scoring home matches means I’m swaying towards an over 2.5 goals bet here – this has also happened in Cardiff’s last four away matches, where they’ve only won twice all season.

It might be hard to split these sides so a high scoring draw is another prediction to make and 2-2 at odds of 13/1 with Bet Victor looks a good bet.
